Dorrigo Mountain 2nd Curve Rehabilitation RMS – The Rix Group
This section of embankment rehabilitation works consisted of the contractor installing rock bolts over the outside of the road bank and we excavated and removed the failing unsuitable road base materials and replaced with stabilised road base in compacted layers and topping with asphalt. The use of more specialised machines made this job easier and more cost effective.
